Queen Elizabeth II passed away on Thursday 8 September 2022 at the age of 96 at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. Her Majesty the Queen's state funeral will take place at Westminster Abbey on Monday 19 September.
Most events for the day in the United Kingdom have been canceled as the country mourns the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
Out of respect, the Wings to Victory Foundation has decided in consultation with the British Embassy and the municipality of Steenbergen that the annual commemoration of W/C Guy Gibson and S/L James Warwick on Monday 19 September 2022 at Steenbergen will not take place.
